In most countries in Asia, gold, glitz and all things luxe are a must all year round regardless of the weather but here in the West, it is more popular during the winter months. I am originally from India and have an inherent weakness for them. If you want to add small contemporary dashes of gold throughout the year, here is a really pretty suggestion..Thermo Mugs from Ferm Living that I found on Harabu House.

While on the Harabu House website, I also came across these recycled brass bells that are made by the T'boli people of southern Philippines. They look as delicate and as intricately detailed as lace. They are out of stock now but hopefully, they will have more soon because I would love one of these. It is such a lovely way to add some rich metallic glamour to your home without it being overwhelming or flashy, don't you think?

The metalwork/ bells reminds one of the Dokra work from India.
