Stationery from 61c

Today, I want to share with you India-based stationery maker, 61c. There is something so personal about writing or receiving a hand written note, a greeting, an invitation or a thank you note. In this age of often-times impersonal digital communication, a hand written letter has a special value. I received a thank you card today morning and I was so touched that the writer took the time and effort to write to me. So today seems particularly appropriate to share 61c! In their own words...   "61c is a brand of paper stationery consisting of notepads and greeting cards. Our products are currently available across 11 cities in India at over 32 boutique stores such as Tijori @ The Oberoi, Amalya @ The Leela Palace, The Box @ The Park, The Bombay Store and many more. All our products are designed and manufactured by us. We have recently launched a new collection called 'Panchatantra'. This collection comprises of a suite of cards, gift tags, envelopes, notepads and notebooks that take inspiration from traditional Indian miniature motifs rendered in a classic and contemporary style." My interest was piqued because the idea of Eastern motif meets contemporary times is one that I am passionate about. And for those unfamiliar with the Panchatantra, these are folk stories about animals. So think curious parrots, dashing horses, camels and of course the Indian favorites, regal elephants and demure peacocks.

I LOVE this!
